Leslie Hogg is an experienced criminal defence lawyer based in Halifax, offering legal services to clients throughout the Province of Nova Scotia. Leslie has represented clients at all levels of Court, defending clients against a wide range of charges under the Criminal Code, Cannabis Control Act, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Motor Vehicle Act, and Liquor Control Act.
Born and raised in Halifax. Leslie graduated from the Schulich School of Law in 2020, where she was awarded the Dean Russell Community Commitment Award and received her Masters of Health Administration. Leslie is a member of the Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society, and Nova Scotia Criminal Lawyers Association.
After being admitted to the Nova Scotia bar, she held a busy practice working with Nova Scotia Legal Aid, and later at Hutchison Law, working under Ian Hutchison prior to his appointment to the Nova Scotia Provincial Court bench.
Leslie understands the serious impact that criminal charges have on a person’s life and works closely with her clients to ensure they understand the charges they are facing and assist clients in navigating through all stages of criminal proceedings.
